Continuing the discussion on samsyApUraNa, I put forward my following
attempts at two kanda padyamulu on a samasya picked from SRI mEDsAni's
sahasrAvadhAnam list.

samasya : "mIsAle strIki sobagu mIrEmannan.."

pUraNA : dOsamaDaga lEru kurula
kosalu muDi beTTagA purusha jAti
yIsEla ninta, poDugau
mIsAle strIki sobagu mIrEmannan..

After lashing on those "Male Pony tail(er)s..:)" (I don't like them and the
facts that many others including my 'cousin' like them, and my boss had one,
don't convince me enough to change my opinion..:))

Here is an interesting variation on the same samasya with a little
modification to the original structure -

samasya : "mIsAlu strIke sobagu mIrEmannan.."

pUraNa : dAsuDu purushuDu vanitaku
vUsulakE vUri pedda yinTanu gAdE !
sO sO maga vArki badulu
mIsAlu strIke sobagu mIrEmannan..

These are some interesting samasyalu which appeared in Telugu Jyoti in
recent editions.

I'll post my attempts a little later and as always it will be nice if
interested telusa'ers participate in these pUraNas also.

Dr. PrabhAkar gAru sent a nice comment & a suggestion on the pUraNa in one
of my previous messages on "mamu variyinturA..." and the clarification we
both are looking for, is the following.

" Do the rules of chandas object the breaking of a line on a hallu ?? "

e.g. : dha + rmamu varinturA tamaku mangaLamul, Satamul, sahasramul..

Ref : mamatanu pancuDI dharaNi mancini pencuDi sAvadhAnamun
sumanamu tODa melguDade kIrtini deccu Subhambu gUrcu nai
jamunu jagAna cATi caritArthulu kanDila nAryulAra dha
rmamu variyinturA tamaku mangaLamul, Satamul, sahasramul..

I've searched some of the poem structures/padya khanDikalu available but
couldn't come across an instance which would support/negate this opinion.
Can we ask rAmakRshNa gAru or another informed telusa'er to clarify this ?
Your corrections and comments would be much helpful for amateurs like me
in the path of chandO-badhdha-padya-racana.

regards..
