no, this is nor my own idea. i'm lifting this idea from
the classical music newgroup where they had a 'raga of
the week' discussion (unfortunately this idea fizzled
out). it was one of the most useful/informative threads
i've ever followed on any newsgroup. therefore:

i propose a 'writer/poet of the week' discussion on
telusa. we can discuss the style/writings/must-read-
books-poems-by-this-person/life whatever : anything
relevant to the person in question. it'll be very
useful for people like me who don't know much about
many many writers/poets and it'll surely help many
knowledgeable posters in increasing their data bank
further.

in order to avoid parallel discussions on different
writers/persons, i suggest that one of us (if no
one else volunteers, i can do this) collect a list
of writers/poets people on this group would like to
talk about. then this person can post who our writer/
poster of the week is, say every monday.... we beat
that writer/poet to death by sunday :-) :-) and go
on to the next one on the list.

say what folks?!

ps due credit goes to suresh koichala who suggested this
to me ....
