Atleast that's what I thought. I even *remember* reading it in
(local) newspapers. Did I say remember?

Yes, Sri madhunApantula satyanArAyaNa (sorry for the typo earlier) wrote
the preface in Nov, 90 and the books were published in 1991. The cost of
these books (3 of them) is Rs. 150/-. They were published by "aBinandana"
publishers, 28-10-1, Carl Marx Road, vijayawada 520 002. (I bought it from
a bookstore in kAkinAda.)

"aBinandana" vAri druStilo idi vALLa samstaku cAlA paruvaina sAhasamu (to
reprint sAkshi vyAsalu-- 70 (?) years after piTApuram rAja vAru and
40 years after vAviLLa and sons published them). According to their
director, "manci racanalu andincAlanI, manci aBiruci penpondincAlanI"
they undertook this venture.
