I can name several other examples.
pAnuganti (cilaka marti, gurujAdA .....) racanalu.
Not only did they send social messages but also helped in the
development of the Telugu language.

In fact pAnuganti uses his 'sAkshi' to discuss industrial development,
social taboos on women, and several other such issues. He uses
'hAsyamu' with his literary skills to delvier his messages. One can see that
his thoughts are very native ('deSiyamainavi'), original and progressive (?).
MudhinApantula garu in his foreward to (the new edition of) 'sAkshi'
writes "idi telugu variki tama jAtIya sampadanu tirigi chOsukonutaku,
anuBavincutaku bRhadavakASamu". I completely agree with MudhinApantula garu
and, if I may, let me add that it is a pleasure to read pAnuganti vari
'sAkshi' vyasAlu.

To summarize, yes there are several (other than the geyalu mentioned)
outstanding examples in telugu literature that convey social messages.
