Good book to learn to read/write/speak Telugu? (fwd)

I didn't see an answer to this on s.c.i.t. and thought maybe some of you
had missed it. I sent a private reply saying that mos tof the works I
had seen required the reader to learn another esoteric coding scheme in
order to use the book. But I think there was a video tutorial in the
making.
