Jampala gari decision to crosspost articles to SCIT is appropriate. I
obtained access to SCIT only very recently and have not experienced
'flames' ever. But I think any articles worth reading, such as the
ones on Chaso and Amaravathi Kathalu (by Jampala) and quite a few other
articles/songs posted here are worth sharing with everybody who'd be
interested. In the long run, it enriches us as a whole, elevates our
collective taste. TELUSA is a unique effort, with enormous potential and
historic importance. It has a lot to benefit by opening its doors to all who
want to come in (and you wouldn't know who they are unless you invite all).
Anything to the contrary would be considered elitism.
Telusa should be made known to all by publishing about it etc.
further, it would be nice to publish a compilation of articles
selected from the TELUSA pool for the benefit of people here and in
India/elsewhere who donot have access to TELUSA. TELUSAers from India,
do you think this can be done. Likewise, could you also prepare a
periodic 'literary/cultural news letter' of sorts, with news from India, for
posting on TELUSA. Most of us would be very interested to know about any
books being published and about the current literary scene. If TELUSA
wants to undertake any such ventures which may cost money, how can they
be funded? Any ideas?
